Ecodome protecteur de pistolet pour borne de recharge

Très bonne qualité de fabrication, mais il ne se fixe pas aussi solidement que je l'espérais. Les aimants ne semblent pas s'aligner correctement avec les boulons sous le capot. De plus, le capot ne se ferme pas hermétiquement lorsque vous l'avez attaché (ou du moins, je n'ai pas réussi à le fermer hermétiquement). Une partie du problème réside simplement dans la conception du port de la Kona Electric, qui se trouve à l'avant de la voiture et est entouré de plastique.

The recommended product for my 2022 Hyundai Kona is the ECO-DOME KO but unfortunately the hood of the vehicle is manufactured from Aluminum or Stainless or some Composite Material that is Non-Magnetic.
To get some use out of the product, I removed the magnets, and closed the hood onto the flap.
Ce n'est pas idéal, mais j'ai pu en tirer un certain usage.

Certainement un produit supérieur. Grande qualité de fabrication. Nous venons de subir une ÉNORME chute de neige et de pluie verglaçante. La prise de charge aurait été complètement gelée, mais votre produit a parfaitement protégé le port de charge. C'était un peu confus au départ pour l'installer, mais j'ai trouvé une vidéo sur YouTube qui l'expliquait en français (je suis bilingue, donc ça allait, mais les anglophones pourraient avoir des difficultés). Suggestion : pourquoi ne pas produire vos propres vidéos et les rendre disponibles sur votre propre site ? Service client ! J'ai recommandé votre produit de nombreuses fois dans des forums en ligne.

When my Eco-Dome arrived, I couldn't quite figure out how it was to be installed under the hood of my '21 Kona EV. However, after a couple of calls to Support, the mystery was solved.

Last Thursday (Dec 9) we had quite a fall of snow here in Cape Breton--about 20 cm or more. Fortunately, it was forecast, and when I plugged in my charger, I made sure that the Eco-Dome was installed around the charging port. When I went out to unplug the charger next morning, there was about 15 cm of snow on top of the Eco-Dome, but NO snow inside the charging port!! I am super happy with this purchase, and would recommend it to any Kona owner. I'm sure that the other models would work equally well, but I have no experience with them.

Hello I bought an EcoDome for a Rav4 prime. The quality of the material and the seams is good. The idea is good, but there are still improvements to be made for the product to fulfill its role.

Under -10c the material hardens and it becomes difficult to handle to put it in place or to store it. The dome is hardly big enough to cover the load port, and it tends to close on itself. We have to work hard to install it because otherwise there are openings on the sides and the snow, but above all the water seeps inside the port.

The biggest problem is the number and the lack of power of the magnets. There are only 3 small magnets in the top of the dome. Between the magnets there are still openings between the body and the dome, water runs down the body and into the charging port.

Also, the magnets are just strong enough to hold the dome in place. If you have a stone protection film like for example Xpel on your body, forget it the magnets don't work at all.

This design flaw is very easy to fix. By replacing the 3 small magnets with a magnetic strip that is the width of the dome. This would allow for water infiltration and if the magnet strip is of good quality it would allow for compatibility between the dome and the stone protection films.

The customer should be informed of the non-compatibility between the Dome and the stone barrier films, this is an important point for all those who have or plan to install
stone protection film on the periphery of the load port.
